Romee’s graduation research aims to gain insight into the preferences of citizens for citizen participation in urban developments via a stated choice experiment. By knowing the preferences of different people in society, it is possible to design participation processes in such a way that a diverse group can be involved. In addition, it allows for tailor-made processes for specific target groups. Ultimately, this may result in more (diverse) participation, increasing the effectivity and quality of such processes.
